No Wii itself cannot get infected by online viruses even though it is connected to the internet. Luckily, the Nintendo Wii is, i guess you could say impervious to online viral threats like hacks or just regular viruses.

I Dont Think Its Anywhere Near Possible Due to The Fact The The Opera Runs Right Of The Wii Other Then Being On Windows XP And Gettin On Internet Explorer. The Wii Doesnt Have An Operating System It Runs Off.
The Wii Is Its Own Thing. Different Viruses Attach themselves To Codes Assiociated To Certain Programs, That In Turn Make Their Way Back To Center Of The ''Operating System''.

Try To Avoid ''Cheap'' Websites ... You Know? Poorly Put Together Websites That Have Tons Of Adds Everywhere (Excluding Myspace)

In theory, yes. But it would have to be specifically designed for the Wii, and there are no known viruses like that as of yet.
