Yes, anti virus program are not 100% effected, so don't rely on them to fully protect you from getting one. If you are asking this question then you need to learn the warning sign of them. You also got to worry about spy ware too. If you are downloading anything from the Internet I would run a anti virus and a spy ware program. If you want some additional scans here are some sites.

yes, but there is a good part, after you download something, open the file and right click, then click scan with norton internet security
No you won't. I just bought Norton 2007 and anytime theres a potential threat (active or not), it will automatically delete it. I feel safe downloading off of limewire now.

Yes anything is possible.
Use Ares P2P (instead of Limewire) and you should be ok. I use Panda anti virus myself and it catches all viruses.
yes and norton is not that good
its possible but make sure you don't let limewire act as a server. It will difinately slow down your computers performance.
