Does anyone know what viruses windows defender detects?

in the program itself , i dont know where to find it? Please dont tell me that this program sucks, cause it doesnt. Or where on the net can i find this information?

Windoews defender is not an antivirus program it is an antispyware program. I have never seen a full list of what any program protects against. If they did, it would make it easy to find out what program is needed to remove a typee of malware.

In addition to a firewall, you need Full time (active) virus protection and full time spyware protection.
