I've heard that lots of keygens contain spyware and some have Trojan horses,etc. So I was wondering....do ALL keygens contain such things or just a few in particular?

No not all of them. The problem is that the number that do tend to outunmber those that don't. I would suggest that you not mess with a keygen unless you know where it came from and are positive that it actually works otherwise you are likely to be using one that has a malicious intent and may not even do what you want.

ALL keygens are illegal by the way as they allow you to illegally register software you didnt pay for

It's just because a lot of keygens are blacklisted by antivirus programs like avg.
a keygen which will actually run and generate a key is usually not any form of spyware or virus, most ''keygens'' with malware are often just advertised as a keygen on a website and do nothing but mess up your system
