Do Macs get viruses?

There has to be a virust out there somewhere for a Mac, but in my two years of HEAVY internet use I have yet to run across one, while at the same time I have reconfigured, from the ground up, at least 100 Windows machines.

If you want stability in your life and you are capable of programming from the Mac version of Notepad, known as TextEditor, then Mac is the way to go.

Interestingly, the Mac is known for it's graphics capabilities. Well, I've used both Windows and Mac's and I get more actual work done with my Windows machines. BUT, I am a TRUE Mac lover. They really are superior. If there were more software available for them, Windows would be out of business in a few years. Vista sucks compared to old versions of Mac's OS/X.

You really need to go to CompUSA or a Mac store and test drive one. They are superior in many ways.

Not really that prompt? Mac are not as Microsoft, that why?
no,a mac system,cannot get infected
NO.

The reason why viruses created for PC (Windows) because they can't do anything with Mac. Windows has a lot of loopholes and easy to manipulate.
yup but there are more viruses for windows because more home users and bisinuses have windows pc's . but macs can still get virouses
It is possible for an Mac to get a virus, so the short answer to the question is ''Yes''. However, the likelihood of an Mac user getting a virus when compared to a Microsoft user is very little to none. In fact, many of the Mac users don't even run an anti-virus protection program.
