1) Reinstall the software via command line: Type in your cd-rom drive letter name followed by a colon(:), type in setup or setup.exe, then press Enter/Return key. Let it install. But get your product key, you need to reinstall the software. I reinstalled and got everything back minus the virus, but I don't know if it is the same for any other PC.

2) Get rid of Windows and everything made by Windows [Windows XP, etc..., Internet Explorer, Windows Media Player, etc... plus everything that automatically installs along with Windows] and get a Mac or format your hard drive and install Linux.
