Whooping cough is a killer...you can cough uncontrollably and it can take up to 4 months to get rid of it...people are everywhere coughing thier brains out in public and one woman (I wanted to smack her) was at a meat counter coughing without covering her mouth. I just said ''oh gross'' took my number and threw it on the floor and walked out....I don't give a damn about how anyone felt. People are irresponsible and frankly the time should come where people should be asked to leave from public places when that ill.

If they don't have the common sense to stop spreading communicable diseases like that which are very serious then they should pay for the health care of those they infect!!!!

Norwalk virus won't kill you but you'll wish you were dead when you puke your brains out for 3 days straight. It can really wipe you out and takes a week or two before you bounce back afterwards.

Our local schoolboard sent home a notice that 15 percent of the cases in ER are children, so to keep your kids home if they are sick...again...common sense but few parents do as they don't want to take the time off work so why not infect everyone else's kids and spread the love.
