hi
i just wanted to no if it contained any virsues or anything..
i have windows vista, and norton 360 to protect my laptop. if u wanted to no.
thanks !!! %26lt;3
Does blubster give u viruses?vincent
probably. anything that allows peer to peer file transfers without regulation (i.e. executable mpg and quicktime videos %26 exe's disguised as mp3s), theres a possibility for viruses.
also, norton is terrible, i would get rid of that asap. ive worked cpu repair for years and i haven't seen norton catch %26 remove a virus in 10 years, but i see computers get destroyed by it daily, and it can't be removed elegantly.
also, found this on a forum:
Blubster.com is a Music 'service' that claims to provide
Free and Anonymous P2P music filesharing. But, the when
installed, the program initiates the installation of
Adware, 98 signatures of Spyware, Cydoors, and
WebEnhancers which take your websurfing data and sends it
to the server. Here's the sadder news, when the program is
uninstalled, your ability to connect to the internet is
destroyed because it diables your internet ports. EVEN
MORE::: When microsoft Anti-spyware cleans it out, it
doesn't prevent the Blubster software from destroying your
ports. Since my internet is disabled, because of Blubster,
I am sending this message through my friends 98SE. So I
ask those of you who have Microsoft Anti-Spyware to send
this message through the 'send report'. PLEASE! It'll
protect Millions of people and maybe even you.
