I used to have Lime wire on my pc and i had to get it wiped at a pc store . Im just wondering whever lime wire was the cause of this or something else i done on it.

It is not itself a virus, but it does make it eay for you to accidentaly get an infection uinto your computer. And to that idiot at the top, BearShare IS a virus... well, spyware. DONT GET SHARE BEAR. I suggest that yuou should use this sftware as a safer alternative:

Yes as all other p2p clients do lime wire too has viruses.

You can follow these steps.

1. Do not blindly click on files to download just because the name matches with the name of the file you wish to download.

(For example you want to download a movie and click on a file which is of a few kilobytes size before looking at it, it gets downloaded before you can hit cancel and you are infected.)
